In recognition of Suicide Prevention & Awareness Month, the Southern Humboldt Family Resource Center and SoHum Health are hosting a free "Holding Space" event this Friday, September 6th, at Garberville Town Square from 5 to 7 p.m. The event aims to open up community discussions about suicide, reducing the stigma, and offering healing for those impacted.
