In a major boost for North Coast conservation, the Siskiyou Land Conservancy has expanded its efforts along the Mad River by protecting an additional 170 acres. This brings the total of conserved area to 353 acres and safeguardes over 1.5 miles of critical salmon habitat in Humboldt County, Jordan Pangelinan Reports.
