As the headlines came in Friday night, the House gave the final approval to the Trump administration’s $9 billion rescission package that aimed to claw back money already allocated for public broadcasting and foreign aid spending at a 216-213 vote. This bill eliminates $1.1 billion in public media funding that has already been approved for the next two years.
