The Eel River Recovery project is partnering with Cal Fire and others to bring a series of prescribed burns to the Ten Mile Creek drainage north of Laytonville, in order to make the ecosystem more resilient in the face of wildfires. 

Sigur-Björn spoke to burn boss Scot Steinbring, who is overseeing the winter-long operation.
