A town hall meeting will take place in Shelter Cove tomorrow, Thursday, October 3rd, where county officials will present their case for Measure O, a proposed 1-cent sales tax on the November ballot. The county estimates that Measure O would generate over $24 million annually to help: Repair deteriorating county roads and bridges Fix potholes Maintain evacuation routes Support bus services Ensure Humboldt receives its fair share of state and federal roads funding Location: Inn of the Lost Coast, 205 Wave Drive, Shelter Cove Time: 3-6 PM Shelter Cove Volunteer Fire Chief encourages community members to attend and engage.
