Local Southern Humboldt Veteran, George Mullins, has turned 100 years old today. Mullins was on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day as a young man, serving his country to defeat Hitler and the Nazi Regime. KMUD News’ Lauren Schmit sat with the local hero for an interview about turning 100 and his thoughts on the US today.
