St. Joseph’s Hospital has filed a motion with the California Superior Court asking to be released from a prior agreement where the hospital guaranteed that pregnant women would be able to access life-saving emergency abortion care. The California Attorney General wants the court to deny the motion, saying the hospital is putting the women of Humboldt County in harm's way.
